Mr Chofor Che is a major consultant in a South African based Company, a think tank focusing on development and conflict resolution in Africa. He is also a lead consultant with the Cameroon’s branch of the US based Nascent’s Solution, an organisation working with the US Agricultural Department for the promotion of food and agriculture especially in developing countries.

He is also a final year candidate at the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, Univeristy of Pretoria, South Africa. His research project is entitled “An analysis of decentralisation under the 1996 Constitution of Cameroon “.

He has a professional diploma in public administration from the National School of Administration and Magistracy, Cameroon, a Master of Laws in human rights and democratization in Africa from the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, Univeristy of Pretoria and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Yaoundé II, Soa, Cameroon.

He has interned at the Cato Institute, Washington D.C, U.S.A and at the State Chancellery in Berne, Switzerland. He has also attended training courses in governance, decentralisation, federalism, constitutionalism, at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, The Central European Univeristy, Hungary and the Kofi Anan Peace Keeping Training Centre, Accra, Ghana.

He is affiliate of several free market think tanks around the world including the Washington D.C based Atlas Network, the Nigerian based AfricanLiberty.org and the Moroccan based LibreAfrique. He is also co-founder if the Cameroon based think tank, the Central African Centre for Libertarian Thought and Action (CACLITA).

He is fluent in English and average in French.
